Socializing on the internet

Today, we read a paphlet on how to be safe on the  internet. It talked about bullies, scams, rude comments and all sorts of things. That’s why reading these parts of infomation really helped me understand that the internet isn’t as safe and secure as I thought. Here is a summary about what I read with my partner, Alyssa.

Social networking is fun way to stay in touch with your friends and family, but it’s not always safe. Bulling and rude comments can make websites dangerous and people can’t have fun. If someone send you a rude message never respond and report to a parent or guardian. Post comment that you would like to have in return. If  someone gives you an offer don’t accept it because most of the time, it’s too good to be true.Don’t put personal information or else people could track you down.

Today, I did a LOT of different activities:

1. I made a pancake mixture for my mum and my sister,

2.My sister and I watched Japanese animation(which was REALLY cool),

3.My sister and I danced to music,

4.I played on the trampoline,

5.I read in our fig tree (which had no figs growing on it at the moment),

6.I pretended to surf on a small, slippery mat,

7.I watched my mum make a card and an envelope,

8.I went into the city with my mum and my sister and I got a fashion designer book and my sister got a book with gross designs.

I had a really great time on Sunday!

On the weekend…

I did some REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLY cool activities. And when I say cool I mean COOL.

First of all, on Friday, I went to my friend Erica’s sleepover party! So, when school was over ( I WAS SO EXCITED ), I got dressed in the girls’ toilets in casual clothes with all the stuff that I needed for the party. Then when I was getting changed, I realized that I hadn’t packed a pair of socks, SO, I had to wear no socks just my shoes until we got to Erica’s house.

Later on while we were having dinner ( My friends Deanne and Marley were there to ), we  said REALLY funny things and we were FOOSL ( falling off our seats laughing )!

Then after that, we all got ready to go to the projection festival in the city!

We had to dress warmly because it was REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLY cold outside so nobody would start forming icicles on their faces ( that’s also why we were all given a scarf to use from Erica’s mum ).

The projection festival was…AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There were HEAPS of projections on buildings and there was one projection where all of us could go in front of the light and it would project on a building! We thought it was cool.

When we got back home, we cut a cake to celebrate Erica turning 10. Then we got in to our pj’s and watched a movie called Spirited Away. When the movie ended, it was about 12:01 am, but Deanne got a bit freaked out by the movie so it took all of us a while to get to sleep. Deanne was SO scared that Erica and I let Deanne sleep between us on the mattresses.

The next morning we all slept in. Marley and I woke up a little bit earlier than Erica and Deanne. Then when everyone was awake, Erica’s dad started frying the pancakes! We were all STARVING when we arrived at the table. I had about 4-5 pancakes!

After everyone was dressed, we had to get ready to go into the city again.

When we arrived in the city and found our parking spot, we walked to the ice lounge! We had to get ski gloves and warm ponchos so we wouldn’t freeze in the ice lounge. Then…in we went!

IT WAS FREEZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We chose to stay in there for half an hour with a temperature of minus 10 degrees! After a while, my feet started to numb and started to hurt of numbness!  And there were cameras so we got to take pictures of us in the ice house.

After being in a cold environment, we…went…up…the…EUREKA TOWER! THE TALLEST BUILDING IN MELBOURNE! Wow! what a view we had! It was SO tall that Marley thought she saw Tasmania! And we got to sit on King Kong’s hand to take a picture were the people change the background to make it look like we were being hung from his hand.

Afterwards we went back to Erica’s house and had sausage rolls and chips for lunch.

YUMMY!!!

Monsters University

On Friday the 12th of July, I went to watch Monsters University at the cinemas at North land. THIS time, I still went with my sister, but ( there’s always a “but” ), I also went with my mum, my cousins on my mums side of the family, and their mum.

Now…um…no affence but, personally, I think that Monsters University was actually better than Despicable me 2. Because it was funnier.

And…I saw Mike Wasouski as a little boy at school. He was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute!!

Sorry…….that was quite silly. Anyway, he’s 2 pictures from Monsters University:

Today I went out to watch Despicable me 2. A very funny movie which I think you will like. I went to see it with my sister, my dad, my cousins on my dad’s side of the family, their mum and my grandpa on my dad’s side of the family.

It’s a bit hard explaining how the movie was. But, I can say that some parts were funny. Like at the end when there was a bad kind of minion, it show right in front of the screen and said: “BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!”

Well…probably not THAT long but he did something  like that. Plus…he got married! Yes, that’s what I said! GRU GOT MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I think I’ve gone a LITTLE bit psycho, so I’m just going to go…
